Biography of the speaker:
Jürgen Logemann holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University in Cologne, Germany. Before joining BASF in 1998 he worked as scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne and for plant biotechnology and agrochemical companies in the Netherlands and the UK.
For BASF Plant Science, founded in 1998, Logemann was in several senior positions including Director Research and Global In-Licensing. Previous to his current position he was Managing Director of BASF Plant Science Company at Limburgerhof, Germany. Since 2011 he is also responsible for the company’s Global Technology Acquisition and Innovation Management.
Jürgen Logemann is Managing Director at CropDesign as of May 2014 and Global Head of Crop Pipelines as of September 2015.
