In vivo Cellular and Molecular Imaging (ICMI) Core Facility, an open access core facility available for your research

The In Vivo Cellular and Molecular Imaging (ICMI) Core Facility at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is specialized in nuclear and optical imaging of small animals.

The lab is equipped with a myriad of state-of-the art multi-modality cameras and ex vivo analysis techniques to study tracer biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, dosimetry, and therapeutic efficacy of radiopharmaceuticals. The latest addition in the fee for services range is the imaging of living cells, while they are in a true and complex environment, using intravital microscopy.
The team of scientific experts provides invaluable expertise in d
eveloping imaging protocols, contrast agents, tracers, and image processing to ensure that our research and fee for services yields reliable and accurate results.
Currently we are extensively working with Belgium based diagnostic and therapeutic companies. We are open for more collaborations/ fee-for-service with research and industrials organisations in Flanders and beyond.
