To meet the growing demand for microfluidics from industry and research institutes, VUB is building a new 550 m² class 100 cleanroom for glass and silicon etching of microstructured devices. The cleanroom will be located at the Etterbeek Campus and will be managed as an open access facility that can host 5 to 8 researchers to work with the latest state of the art microfabrication technologies.
