Bart Van Acker is the CEO and founder of the QbD Group, a leading consultancy company supporting life sciences clients worldwide from idea to patient. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Bart has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients across Europe and beyond.
Bart's passion for quality and compliance stems from his academic background, where he earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering from KULeuven, Belgium.
Following his studies, he gained valuable experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry (at Alcon, Pfizer, DSM, etc.) before co-founding QbD in 2011. Since then, he has led the company through significant expansion, leading QbD's growth into a multinational organization with over 500 employees and offices across the globe.
Under Bart's leadership, QbD has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Flemish Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Trends Gazelle Award, the Deloitte Best Managed Company Award, and the Baanbrekende Werkgever Award (Pioneering Employer).
