Jérôme Van Biervliet is a biotechnology professional with a mixed background in clinical internal medicine specialty practice, high impact science, strategic business consultancy, early drug discovery and business development in the biotech / pharma industry in globally leading environments.
He achieved demonstrable excellence in all these aspects. He was trained at Cornell University, KU Leuven, Vlerick Business school, was a strategic business consultant at Bain & Company (especially in private equity) and is currently at VIB, an excellence-based entrepreneurial research institute.
Jérôme is a board member at Confo Therapeutics, Exevir, Oncurious and Augustine Therapeutics, of which he'll represent the latter at this year's State of the Union.
