Nick Geukens received a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at KU Leuven, Belgium, in 1998 and a PhD degree in Sciences at KU Leuven, Belgium, in 2002. After a post-doctoral stay in the Laboratory of Bacteriology at the Rega Institute for Biomedical Research at KU Leuven working on the identification of novel antibiotics, he joined PharmAbs, the KU Leuven Antibody Research Center in 2008 as general manager. He is responsible for the development and implementation of novel antibody technologies and the valorization of antibody-based therapeutics and diagnostics originating from academic research. In 2009, he also became an IOF innovation manager at KU Leuven.
